Top 25 National Sprint Car Poll - Week 10

David Gravel picked up a pair of wins as the WoO trekked through Central PA

Welcome back race fans for the 10th week in our rankings. Before we begin, I'll apologize for not posting the Top 25 last week. I know everyone was furious (I know how serious you take it), so we'll try not to let it happen again. Ballots were still collected, and driver's points were tallied up for end-of-year totals. This week, our voters' ballots take into consideration all of the races that were contested from May 19th-21st.

David Gravel took advantage of hot streak through Central PA where he picked up back-to-back wins at the pigeon hills of Lincoln Speedway and the historic Williams Grove Speedway. His runs meant enough to our voters to propel him back into the No. 1 spot in our poll. He returns to the top spot after a one week hiatus, and it his his fifth week this season that he has held command of No. 1.

One man's fortune is another man's loss, er, something like that. Donny Schatz falls to No. 2 in the poll following a week where he placed runner-up at Williams Grove and fourth at Lincoln Speedway. Schatz has still never dropped outside of the top two in this poll's history (May 2016).

Brad Sweet maintains the No. 3 spot for the ninth consecutive week, and behind him we find his teammate Daryn Pittman. This is Pittman's highest ranking of the season as he rides the coattails of three straight top-six finishes, including a pair of runner-ups. Rounding out the top five is Jason Johnson who dropped one spot in the rankings.

Tim Shaffer earns the Hard Charger award for the week as he improves six spots to No. 14 in our Top 25 rankings. He piloted the Rudzik Racing machine to a podium finish in the Morgan Cup finale at Williams Grove Speedway to finish his weekend in Central Pennsylvania.

Our panel of voting members includes the following:
Anthony Corini, Blake Anderson, Brian Liskai, Bobby Gerould, Kyle Symons, Mike Leone, Mike Mallett, Shawn Miller and Tyler Beichner.
