Brent Marks headed home to pick up the win at Port Royal Speedway |
Welcome back for another week of our Top 25 National Sprint Car Poll. Our voters' ballots this week take into consideration all of the '410 sprint' races that were contested from April 21st-23rd. Eleven of the fourteen scheduled events were contested, however the pair of World of Outlaws events at Riverside Int'l and Federated Auto Parts Raceway were a wash. Lincoln (PA) Speedway also lost their Saturday night event in a rare rainout.
After a weekend to relax thanks to Mother Nature, the World of Outlaws drivers that occupied the Top 4 spots in our rankings have remain unchanged. Joining those drivers in the Top 5 is Brian Brown. The Missouri native returns to the Top 5 after picking up the win in the Knoxville Raceway season opener.
The drivers on the move this week were Brent Marks and Kerry Madsen, who moved up to Positions 17th & 18th, respectively. Neither driver was ranked in last week's poll. Brent Marks drove home to Pennsylvania following the World of Outlaws' rainout announcement. He then proceed to pick up the win at Port Royal Speedway. Madsen ran runner-up at Knoxville after nearly making a pass for the lead late in the race.
Freddie Rahmer (24) makes his debut this week following a spectacular drive to the win at Williams Grove Speedway last Friday night. Dropping out of the rankings this week are Spencer Bayston (23), Brian Montieth (24), and Carson Macedo (25).
Our panel of voting members includes the following:
