Top 25 National Sprint Car Poll - Week 13

The "Low Rider" Dale Blaney is back atop the ASCoC points standings

Dale Blaney, who advances five spots to No. 4 in our poll, had arguably the strongest weekend of any driver this past week as the All Star Circuit of Champions made their trek through Central Pennsylvania and New York. Against stout competition each night, the Low Rider reeled off a 1st, 4th and 6th place finish before recording a DNF to cap off the trip. After struggling the majority of the summer, Blaney's efforts this past weekend allowed him to overtake Chad Kemenah as the series point leader as we head into the dog days of the season.

Four drivers slid into the rankings this week, but it was Bill Balog who makes his debut in the Top 25 for the first time this year. Balog's recent accomplishments include a weekend sweep against IRA Sprint competition at Wisconsin's Wilmot Raceway. He now sits in a tie with PA Posse driver Brian Montieth for No. 24 in the overall rundown.

Joining Balog as drivers sliding into the poll from outside are Danny Dietrich (19), Logan Schuchart (23), and Brian Montieth (24).

Dropping from the rankings this week to make room for the newcomers are Kyle Larson, Tim Kaeding, Terry McCarl, and Brian Brown.
