The 2018 Pennsylvania Super Late Model Power Rankings: Week 10

Hey there race fans, time for an update tho the rankings we keep here.

Pennsylvania really is turning into Seattle east, as we saw yet another weekend that saw multiple tracks lose their shows to the wet stuff. Just three tracks got scheduled shows in this week: Dog Hollow, Hummingbird, and Port Royal, all of whom ran on Saturday. Usual late model stalwarts Lernerville and Selinsgrove actually managed to get shows in, but neither had super late models on the schedule. Thunder Mountain and Bedford both rained out Friday, and Eriez wasn't able to dodge the rain on Sunday.

Of the three shows that did get in, Dog Hollow and Hummingbird ran regular shows, so they get scored on the regular 5 point scale. Port Royal had a leg of the Tri Track Challenge Series that paid 3k to win, so it gets scored on the 7 point scale.

That said, let's get to some scores. Expect to see a bunch of did not score posts.

1. Jeff Rine*****, 63 points. Jeff got the win at Port Royal Saturday.

2. Dylan Yoder**, 32 points. Dylan finished second to Jeff at Port Royal Saturday.

3. Max Blair**, 28 points. Max failed to score this weekend.

4. Michael Norris***, 21 points. Michael had a scoreless weekend.

5. Jared Miley**, 20 points. Jared wasn't able to score any points this week.

5. Andy Haus*, 20 points. Andy also took an 0fer this week.

7. Michael Maresca*, 18 points. Michael was also held scoreless this week.

8. Gene Knaub, 17 points. Gene batted .000 for the weekend.

9. Rick Eckert**, 15 points. Rick failed to score any points this week.

10. Coleby Frye, 13 points. Coleby ran fifth at Port Royal Saturday.

10. Dan Angelicchio, 13 points. Dan came home fifth at Dog Hollow Saturday.

10. Alex Ferree, 13 points. Alex wasn't able to score any points this week.

10. Jason Covert*, 13 points.  Jason had a scoreless weekend.

And that's the top ten on my spreadsheet for this week. Check back next  Monday to see the update after this coming weekend's action. Hopefully it isn't as lame as this weeke's update, but preliminary forecasts are looking pretty meh. Seattle East strikes again. At least we're not overrun by hipsters and hippies, unless of course, you live in the Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh. Then you really arre just living in Seattle.

1 comment:

  1. Jared Miley finished 3rd at Bedford Speedway on May 25th, which was not recorded on your week 9 Late Model Power Poll Ranking.
