The 2018 Super Late Model Power Rankings: Week 6

Hey there race fans, 'tis Monday and that means it's time to for me to post the updated top ten for these here rankings we keep.

It was rather thin week as far as races go, only three races in the state this week, due mostly to weather concerns. There was regular shows at Hummingbird and Port Royal Saturday and a special at Tri City Sunday, and that was it. Everybody else either didn't have late models scheduled or they rained out. Dog Hollow even managed to rain out twice in the same weekend. How you ask? Friday rain caused them to reschedule their special for Saturday. They got heats in, but Mother Nature couldn't cooperate enough to all ow them to get the feature in.

It's just been a sorry sate of weather affairs this season so far. Pennsylvania seems to be Seattle these days, minus the obnoxious hipsters. Unless, of course, we're talking the Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh, then its even more obnoxious than Seattle. Seriously though, I'm about over the weather. It's regoddamndicoulous how much rain we get. It's preventing a lot of fans and a lot of tracks from getting their seasons under way

But I digress, you don't read this column for my bitching, you read it for rankings. Let's go ahead and get to those rankings.

1. Jeff Rine**, 29 points. Jeff ran fourth at Port Royal Saturday.

2. Andy Haus, 15 points. Andy didn't score at all this weekend.

3. Dylan Yoder**, 14 points. Dylan got the win at port Royal Saturday.

4. Gene Knaub, 13 points. Gen failed to score any points this weekend.

5. Mike Maresca*, 12 points. Mike got his first ever late model win at Tri City Sunday.

6. Dave Troutman**, 10 points, Dave had a scoreless weekend.

6. Coleby Frye, 10 points. Coleby took an 0fer this weekend.

6. Scott Bloomquist*, 10 points. Scott also failed to score this week.

9. Josh Richards, 9 points. Josh batted .000 this weekend.

10. Earl Pearson Jr, 8 points. EPJ wasn't able to score this weekend.

10. Max Blair, 8 points. Max came home fourth at Tri City Sunday.

And that's the top ten this week. heck back next week to see where your favorites end up. There;'s a bunch of specials scheduled in the area this weekend, so we could see some pretty big movement among this poll. Let's hope Mother Nature finally realizes that we aren't Seattle. That would be awesome. A sweet side benefit would be my grass not growing like crazy and I could go a week without cutting it twice.
