Bobby Pierce In Action at $20,000 To Win Fall Nationals; Kokomo Klash Also On Tap At Speed Shift

Bobby Pierce won't be at this weekend's Dirt Track World Championships, but he will be out and about, doing Bobby Pierce things. His last time out in a modified went well (September 28-30) at Tri City Speedway (IL) , but the stakes are no where near what they will be at Southern New Mexico Speedway this weekend as the $20,000/$1,500 to start USRA Fall Nationals.

Stacked Field In The Desert

On hand will be some of the best Modified drivers in to the country. Pierce will have his work cut out for him as  Terry Phillips, Dereck Ramirez, Fito and Jake Gallardo. Jason Hughes, Ricky Thornton JR., Zach Vanderbeek,Ryan Gustin, Rodney Sanders, Stormy and Johnny Scott and many more will grace the surface this weekend. It'll be a great mix of USRA and USMTS Stars with a very large car count. Also on the card this weekend will be X Mods, USRA Stock Cars, Legends of the Southwest, and Super Trucks.

Kokomo Klash

The final race weekend of the season is on tap at Kokomo Speedway this Friday and Saturday night, and it's a great mix of fendered, non-fendered and things with two fenders too! Watch Dave Darland and a host of Non-Wing Sprint Cars including Justin Grant, Kevin Thomas Jr., CJ Leary and more USAC and regional stars battle it out on Friday, plus Midgets, 600cc Micros and Thundercars. While on Saturday night, Late Models, Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stocks and Hornets.
