Top 25 National Sprint Car Poll - Week 3

Schuchart's 3rd career WoO win propels him into the Top 10 in our rankings

Welcome back for another week of our Top 25 National Sprint Car Poll. Our voters' ballots this week take into consideration all of the '410 sprint' races that were contested from March 29th-April 2nd. Only five events were contested in that time frame, with three events falling subject to rainy weather.

Donny Schatz maintains the top spot but finds David Gravel and Brad Sweet hot on his tail. Schatz was still able to collect eight of the ten first-place votes, with Gravel corralling the remaining two votes. A repeat of last week for Connecticut's Gravel could be enough to propel him into the #1 position for the first time.

Two young guns surged up into the Top 10 of our rankings for the first time this season. Logan Schuchart finds himself sitting 8th in the Top 25 Sprint Car Poll following his charge to the front at Keller Auto Speedway where he was able to pick up the win. One spot behind him is where you'll find Sheldon Haudenschild. Lil' Haud continues to impress in his rookie campaign with the World of Outlaws, boasting Top 10 finishes in each of the last three events.

Two Central PA drivers join the Top 25 in Brian Montieth and Doug Esh. They replace the trio of drivers that have dropped out of the rankings: Lynton Jeffrey, Jason Sides, and Lance Dewease.

Of note, ballots included the World of Outlaws stop at Placerville Speedway on Wednesday, March 29th.

Our panel of voting members includes the following:
Anthony Corini, Blake Anderson, Brian Liskai, Bobby Gerould, Kyle Symons, Mike Leone, Mike Mallett, Shawn Miller, Tony Bokhoven and Tyler Beichner.
