On Tap- Outlaws Enjoy Wine Country; Late Models in Moonshine Country;

Well, what can we tell you. Mother Nature is pointing and laughing at us, but here's your best bets for the weekend that will be.

On Tap this week, we have a new beer from the fine folks at Highland Brewery in the mountains of North Carolina.  It's Highland's Oatmeal Porter, which is a nice beer for cold weather. It's hearty, balanced, warm, and smooth as silk on the palette. It chimes in right around 6% and makes for a great time with friends! Enjoy one in the parking lot this weekend! Now lets talk about where the Outlaws are headed!

World of Outlaws at Calistoga Speedway (CA)  (Sat & Sun)

Ah, it's time for the Outlaws to have a glass of wine in the place where you can find elegant reds and whites, and mad dog 20/20 too! Speaking of wine, Abreu Vineyards is nearby, makers of wonderful Cabernets, and also outstanding race car drivers that can drive anything. He'll be there for both races this weekend, Rico that is, and he'll be one of the favorites coming into the weekend. Brad Sweet and Donny Schatz split the last weekend respectively, at Stockton and Chico. Sweet comes into the weekend with a points lead, but the question on almost every sprint fans mind isn't a question of if Schatz will take it over, but more a question of when.  Be sure to watch the action on dirtvision.com if you get the chance!

Points Coming Into the Weekend:

1. Brad Sweet- 1957
2. Shane Stewart- 1878
3. Daryn Pittman- 1870
4. Donny Schatz- 1869
5. Joey Saldana- 1834

World of Outlaw Late Models at Duck River (Fri)  and Tazewell Speedway (Sat)

It's the Tennessee Two Step this weekend for the World of Outlaw Lates as the series takes to the Volunteer state. Home of Bloomquist, Hill, Owens, and that great moonshine! The Outlaws might have to worry about Bloomer and Owens and others following the Lucas cancellation this weekend, but they will have to worry about some of the local contingent as Chad Ogle and perhaps Chris Madden, should he choose to attend both, could provide some stiff resistance to Josh Richards and company. Free Audio on dirtvision.com all weekend long!

Points Coming Into the Weekend:

1. Josh Richards- 1026
2. Shane Clanton- 918
3. Rick Eckert- 902
4. Brian Shriley- 896
5. Brandon Overton- 872
