Welcome back for our second edition of the Northeast Sprint Car Championship.
A surging Chad Kemenah highlighted the ten-race weekend. In his three ASCoC starts in as many days, the #10H machine piloted by Kemenah accumulated a win (Bedford), 2nd (Attica), and 4th place (Wayne County) finishes.

Over the past weekend, our 2015 champion Greg Hodnett recorded a win at Port Royal Speedway and a runner-up finish amidst the 42-car field at Bedford Speedway. The Thomasville, PA native's early 11-point is good enough to hold a narrow one-point margin over Chad Kemenah
Lincoln Speedway regular Alan Krimes and Ohio hotshoe Dale Blaney are deadlocked in a tie for 4th place in the standings at 7 points. Rounding out the top 5 is Doug Esh, who found victory lane on Friday at Williams Grove Speedway for the first time this season.
The following races will count for points next weekend:

Saturday - Atomic, Fremont, Lincoln, Mercer, Port Royal, & Wayne County
Sunday - Selinsgrove
