Outlaws Invade Upper Midwest
The Greatest Show on Dirt is heading back east to finish up the season, but they'll have one more stop in the Midwest this weekend as the Outlaws invade the Clay County Fairgrounds (IA) on Friday and Deer Creek (MN) Speedway on Saturday. Barring a nuclear war, Donny Schatz has all but clinched the WoO title, but that doesn't mean there won't be a little intrigue this weekend as Danny Lasoski and Terry McCarl crash the party along with a few other notables. The fastest late models on the planet take to Michigan's Berlin Raceway for two shows on Friday and Saturday. Darrell Lanigan is three for three lifetime at the asphalt speed plant which will be covered in clay this weekend, but the man to beat may just be Rick Eckert who is coming off a recent Firecracker 100 victory.
