Central Pennsylvania drivers have a stranglehold on the standings as they hold 5 of the top 6 spots, and it is none other than "The Low Rider" Dale Blaney that has thrown a wrench into the dominance as he finds himself 4th in points.
It is evident that it takes more than a month or two of good runs in control the top spot in the standings. The top 4 drivers, who have opened up a considerable gap over the drivers sitting below them, have been consistently finishing up front since the snow thawed-out in March.
Greg Hodnett's four-point cushion over Danny Dietrich could vanish in one night of racing, and Brian Montieth is known for his weekend sweeps at Williams Grove and Lincoln that would immediately put him in the hunt for the top spot. Meanwhile, expect Dale Blaney to keep chipping away at his 8-point deficit in the upcoming All Star races that are guaranteed to bring a lot of cars.
