On Tap- Local Edition; ULMS Lates and Kevin Bolland Return to Sharon; Patriot Sprints in Action at Mercer; Ed Laboon Memorial at PPMS

Well, what's on tap this weekend? Why not stop by one of our local tracks? The national scene is well and good, but the true dirt fan finds just as much pleasure out of watching racing at their local track of choice, if not more so.

In our neck of the woods, we've got some fantastic facilities with uncommon diversity among divisions, you can truly find one of just about everything that races on dirt within a two hour radius of Pittsburgh. It is quite literally, a crossroads where several things intersect.

So here's what we have this weekend in southwestern PA. Be sure to check out any of them, you won't be disappointed! And if you're in the mood for a racing vacation this summer, never hesitate to contact us to help with hotels, itineraries, races to suit your interests..etc. We're here to help every dirt fan, and every member of DIRT nation!

Now then, here's what's on tap!

Saturday May 30

ULMS Late Models/Return of Kevin Bolland Highlight Sharon Speedway Action

Not that you'd need much more incentive to go, but this Saturday night at Sharon Speedway would be a great time to come watch the action as the ULMS Late Models are in action, marking the first time in two years that the Super Late Models have graced the dirt a the famed Hartford, OH oval. There'll be a little northern tier vs southwest PA flair to the lineup as $2000 to win is on the line1

But wait, there's more! In the Big Block Modifieds, some guy named Kevin Bolland is popping by Saturday night, and it's his first night back to action in over two years as well.  The legendary driver will be hard pressed to find victory lane at Sharon though as Rex King Jr has gone two for two to start the season and shows no sign of relinquishing control over his home track to anybody. It should be interesting to see Bolland's familiar #777 in action again.

Also on the card are RUSH Sportsman modifieds, economods, and four cylinders, it's one of the best values in the area...

Patriot Sprints Take to the Clay at Mercer

There aren't too many bad night's at Mercer Raceway Park, in fact we'd be hard pressed to find one in recent memory.  And this week there'll be another great "built in" special event as the Patriot 360 come to town to attempt to take some cash back up north.

Also running this weekend are the 410 sprints, 358 modifieds, 305 outlaw sprint warriors, st, and four cylinders.  And you get all this with no additional ticket price hike, a great value for five division racing. So if you'd like a little more winged sprint action to your weekend, Mercer's your place to be!

Ed Laboon Memorial and Super Late Models Set for PPMS

Like stocks? I mean lots and lots of stocks? Check out the $2,000 plus to win Ed Laboon Memorial race on the monster half mile! There's a good chance you'll see 40+ cars in action and bragging rights on the line as cars from Lernerville, Mercer and Sharon all come together for one night.

Also, the Super Late Models return to PPMS as drivers look to get some seat time in preparation for various specials later on in 2015 including the Lucas sanctioned $20,000 to win Pittsburgher 100 in August.

So, you know what you like, here's four great options, pick one (or two hopefully) and hit the track this weekend!
