Getting geared up for another great weekend of racing? Here in the Northeast, we're experiencing well below-average temps but that won't stop some of the best fans in the country from getting out and supporting there local tracks.

Late models may be the focus of some this weekend, as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series visits Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex and Hagerstown Speedway for a pair of $10,000-to-win 

events which we touched upon in our "On Tap" article (shameless plug).

Danny Dietrich looks to defend his home turf

For us sprint car fans, we shift our attention to Tony Stewart's NEW All Star Circuit of Champions as they invade Posse Territory to test their grit at Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway respectively.

The local contingent that the All Stars will butt heads with are as tough as any area in the country. Keep in mind, no All Star member has won an ASCoC-sanctioned race at Williams Grove. Another thing to consider is that two former Posse members are representing the All Stars this 

weekend (Cody Darrah & Ryan Smith).

Dale Blaney leads the All Stars into Central PA

The Weikert Memorial on Saturday at Port Royal will offer up the largest winner's share of an All Stars points race this season. With $15,000 on the line, you can be assured that the best in the business will be in attendance. The All Stars have fared a little better at the Speed Palace, so don't expect things to change in the aspect.

Grab a coat, bundle up, bring your seat cushion, snag a snack on your way to the track, and prepare yourselves for two huge shows in Central Pennsylvania.
