Shane Stewart broke in his new Larson/Marks owned car last week at Port Royal (PA) with a top 5 finish in the Weikert Memorial ASCoC event, and that's all the breaking in it needed.
He then preceded to venture to Eldora this past weekend to take on the World of Outlaw sprints and some of the best non outlaw drivers in the area and put on a clinic, winning in dominant fashion to score the first victory for Larson/Marks.
Stewart led all 30 laps, and drove away from his closest pursuer, Joey Saldana with effective work in lapped traffic to claim the victory. He'll be on the tour full time in 2015, however if you happen to be in the Mechanicsburg, PA area on Friday night, he'll be there too showing the goods against the best central PA has to offer at Williams Grove.
Stewart on the win:
"This is such a surreal … sorry," started an emotional Stewart of Bixby, Okla., in victory lane. "It's been quite a rollercoaster for me the last couple of years, and it was a tough decision to come here, I had a couple of good offers on the table and thank god I picked this one, huh? I know we're going to have our bumps and bruises, but to come here and win with the field of cars that are here … my car was on a rail."

Honorable Mentions:
Darrell Lanigan:
The bluegrass bandit picked up a weekend sweep
in WoO action at Fayetteville, NC and Lavonia, GA
to notch his 2nd and 3rd tour wins on the season.
His series lead is now at the 82 point mark and if
there's any way he doesn't win this years title, we've
yet to discover how. It was a close call this week, but
he'll be DoW at least once or more this season if he
keeps this current pace in the bigger shows later on.
David Gravel:
Gravel found himself this week in a new ride, having taken over as the pilot of the Roth Motorsports #83 car, and he put a huge smile on his new employer's face as well as his growing multitude of fans and new believers. Gravel bested the WoO Sprint field on Saturday at Eldora as he traded slidejobs with 2013 WoO Champion Daryn Pittman and came out the victor. It was his second win of the season, and if anything can be taken from
the new Gravel/Roth pairing, it is that they'll be a true
force to be reckoned with the rest of the way!

Billy Pauch:
We can just call him the mayor of New Egypt after this weekend! Pauch had been on a tear at NES, winning 3 in a row early on. But a 4th consecutive victory there was nullified by a DQ when officials deemed his sail panels were 2 inches too tall. Pauch returned this weekend legal, and took his fourth victory there this past Saturday.
