Silver Cup Pickem Results

The 162 entries that filled the scoresheet this year blew away last year's event high of 52. So first things first, thanks to everyone that participated. I hope this fantasy contest made the event a little more fun and and that you'll join us for more Pickems in the near future!

John LoPresto (@JohnLoPresto) topped the leaderboard following David Gravel's exciting win on Tuesday night. LoPresto, who was one of the last contestants to enter, won despite the fact that one of his drivers did not even race. The winning combination was that of David Gravel, Donny Schatz, Logan Schuchart, Tim Shaffer, Cole Duncan and Jack Sodeman, Jr. A margin of 11 points separates him and second place. For the win, John will receive a $50 Visa gift card courtesy of our fine sponsors.

Behind him was well-known special event pickem player Brian Johnson (@Flwrpwr29). The driver combination that garnered a runner-up effor for Johnson was comprised of Dale Blaney, Donny Schatz, Sheldon Haudenschild, Tim Shaffer, A.J. Flick, and Jack Sodeman, Jr. A "Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup" event tshirt will be awarded to Brian for his strong 2nd place finish.

Rounding out the podium was Aaron McClure. Aaron nudged out the 4th place finisher by just one point to claim the final spot on the podium. For his efforts, he will receive a coveted "The Dirt Network" tshirt. His driver combination was David Gravel, Donny Schatz, Lucas Wolfe, Sheldon Haudenschild, Cap Henry, and Cole Duncan.
