Top 25 Weekly Sprint Car Poll

Craig Dollansky was the biggest mover of the week,
sliding up 7 spots in the overall rankings

Donny Schatz maintains the top spot in this week's poll, although his cushion over 2nd was narrowed significantly by a surging Greg Hodnett. Memphis, Tenn.'s Hodnett used Port Royal Speedway's "Weikert Memorial" as a springboard into the 2nd position. The eight first-place votes were split between Donny Schatz (4), Daryn Pittman (3) and Danny Lasoski (1).

The biggest mover of the week was Craig Dollansky, who moved up seven spots to the 10th position. Moving up six spots and landing in the 9th position was Kerry Madsen.

Five drivers made their debut in our Top 25 rankings, led by Rico Abreu in the 17th spot. Other drivers joining the rankings for the first time are Lucas Wolfe (18), Cole Duncan (21), Tim Kaeding (24), & Byron Reed (25).

The five drivers who dropped out of the rankings from last week's poll are Logan Schuchart, Danny Holtgraver, Jason Johnson, Brent Marks, & Bryan Clauson.

Recent Results: Got the win at Lawrenceburg, finished runner-up at Charlotte, and 7th at New Egypt.

Recent Results: Notched a 2nd at Iowa State Fairgrounds Speedway and a 4th at Knoxville in NSL action.

Recent Results: Cracked the Top 5 just once in the past week with a 4th at New Egypt.

Recent Results: Snagged the win at Attica & finished runner-up at Wayne County in ASCoC action.

  1. While this poll is close to being correct, it is selected by media or press members. Not having a fan or fans to make there selections or to have some representation in the process, which I feel fans should have more of a say in this selection process.
