Tony's All Stars Take to Western PA

After competing in Florida, throughout Ohio, and in Central PA already this year, Tony Stewart's All Star Circuit of Champions are heading to Western PA for the first time in 2016 this weekend with trips to Lernerville Speedway and Mercer Raceway Park.

The All Star contingent is led this year by veterans Dale Blaney and Chad Kemenah. Both drivers have gotten off to great starts and will be the favorites on Friday and Saturday night. Other touring series drivers we can expect to see are Kraig Kinser, Sheldon Haudenschild, Ryan Smith, Cap Henry, T.J. Michael, Tim Shaffer, Lee Jacobs, Danny Holtgraver, Caleb Helms, Kory Crabtree and Brad Howard.

With that stout field in mind, the diverse field of Western PA drivers will give them a run for their money. Carl Bowser, Jack Sodeman Jr., A.J. Flick, Brandon Spithaler, Brandon Matus, Eric "Turkey" Williams and others have a shot at earning one of the $5,000 paydays.

Lernerville Speedway will be hosting their 35th ASCoC race. Dating back to the 1st one that took place in 1989, 20 drivers have nabbed a series victory at the historic 4/10 mile oval. Tim Shaffer leads the way with 4 wins at The Action Track, but last year it was Dale Blaney that found victory lane.
